Blueprint Test Preparation was founded in 2005 and is backed by New Harbor Capital private equity. Blueprint offers self-paced, live online, and one-on-one tutoring options for LSAT prep. All instructors scored in the 98th percentile or higher on a real LSAT. Blueprint's curriculum emphasizes mastery of fundamental reasoning skills — not tips or tricks — and includes adaptive homework, advanced analytics, and a score increase guarantee on its Pro and higher plans. Blueprint has updated its curriculum and platform to reflect the August 2024 LSAT format change, which removed Logic Games and added a second scored Logical Reasoning section.

What Makes Blueprint Different
Blueprint is best known for two things: instructor quality and an adaptive, analytics-driven platform. All Blueprint instructors scored in the 98th percentile or higher on a real LSAT, and the curriculum is built around mastering fundamental reasoning skills rather than test-taking shortcuts. Blueprint's lesson design is notably more engaging than most competitors — the platform uses animated explanations, humor, and an interactive scoreboard to keep students motivated through long study periods.
The platform's adaptive learning engine adjusts homework assignments based on individual performance, directing study time toward weak areas rather than questions students have already mastered. Blueprint's analytics suite shows students exactly which question types and skills to prioritize for the highest potential score gains, and the online study planner rebalances automatically when schedules change.
Blueprint also offers a 170+ Course — a dedicated product for students targeting elite scores — that includes over 70 hours of live instruction and comes with a guaranteed 170 score outcome. This is one of the most specific score guarantees available in the LSAT prep market.
2024 LSAT Format Change
Beginning in August 2024, LSAC permanently removed the Logic Games (Analytical Reasoning) section from the LSAT. The new three-section format consists of two scored Logical Reasoning sections and one Reading Comprehension section. Blueprint updated its platform and curriculum to reflect this change, expanding its Logical Reasoning instruction to cover the increased weight of that section in the new format. Legacy Logic Games content remains accessible for students using older PrepTests. Blueprint's curriculum has historically been regarded as strong in Logical Reasoning instruction, making it well-positioned for the new format.
